two-toned denim

Also known as color-blocked jeans, this adventurous look is perfect for those who aren’t afraid to mix things up. Two-toned denim works like a contour and can add length to your legs if that’s something you’re into.

90S BAGGY JEANS

The loose cut from the 90s is still the dominant trend this year but with a slightly different outline. Last year was all about the mom-jean. This year we’ll explore the dad jean (loose, straight leg). Pair this with a tighter-fitting top and prepare to be showered with compliments.

PUDDLE PANTS

There’s baggy and then there’s puddle baggy. These jeans take me straight back to the early 00s when rock festivals were still cool. The 2023 version has been elevated and is certifiably chic.

CARGO JEANS

Designers are really romanticizing the 90s with cargo jeans. Admittedly, I’ve never been a fan of cargo pants but somehow this denim revamp looks too good not to try.

DENIM ON DENIM

2023 is the return of the stylish, comfy and all-around badass Canadian tuxedo. Keep the shades and washes similar top-to-bottom, then add a pop of color to balance it out. Looking good, eh!
